A proven design methodology that smoothly integrates all design disciplines, coupled with broad product experience in multiple industries, enables us to quickly understand a problem and create innovative solutions that mitigate risk and speed time-to-market.

Using state-of-the-art CAD tools, PDE’s design team creates a complete solid model database of the product and its components. This database allows us to carry out tolerance analysis, fit analysis, DFA (design for assembly) and DFM (design for manufacturing). It also contains all of the design data required by production manufacturers.

Effective product design does not end with a set of drawings or a CAD database. To ensure success, PDE assists customers in production vendor selection and follows the design through tooling and manufacturing ramp-up. This ensures the product is transitioned to full production smoothly and effectively, both locally and offshore.
